Early Learning Centre

Program

St Paul's ELC offers a regulated Preschool program five mornings each week, in compliance with The Northern Territory Preschool Curriculum to implement the five outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework for children aged from 3 - 5 years.  It also supports the intentional teaching of language literacy and numeracy through play based learning and aligns with the Australian Curriculum to help provide seamless learning from Preschool to Transition.

We are a SunSmart approved center that uses the concepts of Being, Belonging and Becoming;  the EYLF for Australia and the Northern Territory Curriculum. St Pauls's ELC incorporates SunSmart practices into the play experiences of our programs so all children can develop necessary SunSmart habits.  

Staff:

At St Paul’s Early Learning Centre we employ qualified and experienced educators.  Leaders hold a minimum Diploma in Children’s Services and assistants hold a Certificate III in Children’s Services, are studying or are highly experienced.  We employ three full-time staff which giving us a high educator to child ratio.  This enables us to provide quality care, continuity in our program and meeting the individual needs of all children.

National Quality Standard

St Paul’s Early Learning Centre is accredited, meeting all National Standards.  The centre was rated Exceeding in 'Relationship with Children' For more information on the National Quality Standard and National  Quality Framework (NQF) go to acecqa.gov.au.

Fees & Opening Hours

Childcare Benefit is a service offered to parents by the Commonwealth Government to assist with the payment of childcare fees.  The amount of fee relief is based on the combined income of the parents and is approved by the Family Assistance Office.  For more information phone the Family Assistance Office on 136150 or www.familyassist.gov.au
